My business as a local marketer is to increase your business turnover in a profitable way.
As a business adviser and trainer I often am asked how to increase turnover and I frequently discover my clients confuse turnover with either Net Profit or Gross Profit.

Turnover is the amount of revenue that is generated from the sales of goods and services of your business. This is often termed ‘Gross Sales’ or ‘Gross Income’.

There are only four ways to increase turnover and each has a different cost to the business.
These are, (in no particular order):

  1. Increase price while maintaining sales volume.
  2. Sell more at each sale, (The classic MacDonald’s up-sell).
  3. Increase the number of customers you service.
  4. Increase the frequency of sales to each customer.

Truly focused marketing means:

You can now instantly contact your best customers whenever you want.

The process is different for each business depending on a number of factors like budget, required outcome and the capacity to carry out the task.

Just imagine what you will be able to do with a hand held device in 3 to 5 years from now.

Personal computers (PC’) may well be heading the way of the dinosaur as cloud computing becomes more widely accepted and trusted.    We will access our data and work files on hand held devices before you and I know it.

Local marketing puts you in touch with the local people who buy your goods and services and now you have more powerful tools to use than ever before.
